Haseder Busch, Nature reserve in Giesen, Germany
Haseder Busch spans 48.82 hectares of land, featuring natural hardwood floodplain forest with diverse tree species and oxbow lakes along the river.
The German government established Haseder Busch as a protected nature reserve in 1974, designating it as a Category IV habitat management site.
The reserve forms part of the Kleeblatt nature experience region, integrating forest education and environmental understanding through marked walking paths.
Visitors can access multiple hiking trails throughout the reserve, with constructed ponds and reed zones in the southern section offering wildlife observation spots.
The forest displays a spring carpet of Larkspur, Wood anemone, and Cowslip flowers covering extensive areas between the ancient trees.
