Gut Groß-Engershausen, Manor house in Preußisch Oldendorf, Germany.

Gut Groß-Engershausen is a manor house situated on an island surrounded by water and connected to the mainland via a stone arch bridge. The complex includes the main residence, several agricultural buildings, and a moat that encircles the entire property.

The estate was built around 1770 and first belonged to the von Schloen family before passing to the von Berner family in 1671. The von Spiegel family acquired it in 1838 and has retained ownership ever since.

The timber-frame building with its hipped roof represents the regional construction style that shaped this area's architecture. The way the main structure connects with agricultural buildings around the moat shows how such an estate functioned as a working rural center.

The estate is in private ownership of the von Spiegel family and is not open to the public without prior arrangement. Visits require advance contact and permission from the owners.

A small mausoleum stands north of the main building, reflecting the family's heritage and connections. Several agricultural structures surrounding the moat continue to serve their original functions in part.
