Villa Boge, Wilhelminian villa in Eitorf, Germany

Villa Boge is a grand private residence from the early 1900s featuring towers, bay windows, and elaborate facade details, situated across from Eitorf train station. The building is surrounded by extensive gardens that frame the architecture with trees and green spaces.

The house was built in 1904 as the residence of industrialist Adolf Gauhe, who furnished it with considerable means. Around 1930, Adolf Boge purchased the property, and his name has remained associated with the villa ever since.

The villa served as a residence for a wealthy industrialist and reflects the taste of owners who valued luxury and status in their community. Such private mansions functioned not merely as homes but also as symbols of success and social standing in the region.

The property sits directly across from the train station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Whether the building can be visited depends on current access conditions, so it is wise to check in advance before planning a visit.

During winter months, the current owners decorate the villa extensively with lights and display a large Santa Claus face on the facade. This seasonal embellishment turns it into a local attraction and gives the historic property a festive appearance.
