Kapelle St. Reinoldi, Medieval chapel in Rupelrath, Solingen, Germany
The Reinoldi Chapel features a single hall design with a choir room, apse, and bell tower covered in slate tiles on the portal side.
The chapel originated in the 14th century and underwent reconstruction in 1718, incorporating parts of the original walls while redesigning the portal side.
Medieval wall paintings discovered in 1952 include a depiction of the Last Judgment with Christ, Mary, and John the Baptist in the sacristy.
The chapel contains an organ with one manual and pedal system offering eight different registers for varied sound compositions during services.
The oldest gravestone in the adjacent cemetery dates from 1702, predating the current chapel structure by several years.
