Museum für Angewandte Kunst

The Museum für Angewandte Kunst is housed in the Ferberschen Haus and displays furniture, ceramics, glass, and textiles from different design periods. The rooms feature works from early modernism and functionalism alongside photographs by Aenne Biermann.

The museum was founded in 1984 as the only specialized applied arts museum in Thuringia. Its collection focuses on design and craftsmanship between the two world wars.
