Forum am Wall

Forum am Wall is a heritage monument in Mitte featuring a trapezoidal structure with two wings and three inner courtyards spread across multiple levels. Inside, visitors find reading rooms, study spaces, cafes, and a restaurant designed to serve different purposes.

The building was constructed in 1908 following Carl Börnstein's design and initially operated as the city's police headquarters. Over time it transitioned to become Bremen's central library, marking a complete shift in its purpose.
