Werksbrücke West

Werksbrücke West is a cable-stayed structure that spans roughly 150 meters across the river and carries multiple types of traffic. The design integrates railway tracks alongside lanes for cars, bicycles, and pedestrians all on one deck.

The bridge was built between 1970 and 1972 to serve the industrial area and connect different parts of the city. Its completion linked neighborhoods that had previously relied on other routes and enhanced regional transportation capacity.

The bridge connects two neighborhoods and enables daily interaction between residents from different parts of the city. It has become an essential hub in how people move through their communities.
