Kapelle Bessin, Gothic brick chapel in Bessin village, Rambin, Germany.
The octagonal chapel stands on a sandstone base with a distinctive roof covered in monk and nun tiles, featuring cornered brick bands along its walls.
Stralsund Mayor Matthias Darne funded the construction of this chapel in 1482, and a wooden bell tower was added to the structure in 1650.
The interior contains a baroque pulpit altar created by Stralsund artist Michael Müller in 1742, along with eighteenth-century box pews and medieval paintings.
The chapel opens daily during summer months and welcomes visitors for religious services, weddings, baptisms, and small musical performances.
Medieval ceiling paintings decorate the interior, while the original fifteenth-century bell continues to ring from the seventeenth-century wooden tower.
