Schloss Neuburg am Inn

Schloss Neuburg am Inn is a fortified castle perched on a hilltop overlooking the Inn River with architectural elements spanning multiple centuries. The structure displays a mixture of different building styles that reflect its long evolution and successive renovations.

The Landkreisgalerie within the castle walls hosts rotating art exhibitions featuring both regional and national artists. The space functions today as a cultural venue where visitors can experience contemporary and historical artworks.

Entry to the castle interior requires advance registration for guided tours, while the grounds and gardens remain accessible during daylight hours. The hilltop location provides excellent views across the river valley and offers plenty of space to explore the exterior areas.

The Paradise Garden was created in the 17th century by Count Georg Ludwig von Sinzendorf and features a central fountain enclosed by historical walls and grotto structures. This garden design represents a rare fusion of baroque horticultural art with ancient architectural features still visible today.
