Kloster Heiligenbronn, Cistercian monastery in Schramberg, Germany
The monastery complex includes a church, cloister, chapel, and living quarters situated near a natural spring in the Black Forest region.
Founded in the 12th century, the monastery experienced decline during the Thirty Years' War and transformed into a center for education in the 19th century.
The monastery houses 260 clay figures created by Peruvian artist Raul Castro between 1987 and 1994, depicting scenes from the life of Jesus.
Visitors can access guided tours with audio devices from Tuesday to Friday, and attend regular Eucharist services on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The monastery grounds contain a healing spring, first documented in 1385, where according to records, a shepherd found relief for his injured feet.
