Gasbehälter Möbeck

Gasbehälter Möbeck is a spherical gas storage facility in Wuppertal-Heckinghausen with a diameter of about 38 meters and a height of about 67 meters. The steel construction stores pressurized natural gas to serve the city's distribution network.

The facility was built in 1958 by MAN Werk Gustavsburg and was the largest spherical gas holder in Europe during the 1980s. It has stood for decades as a witness to Wuppertal's industrial past and remains a notable example of 20th-century infrastructure.

The transformation of this former industrial gas storage facility into a modern fitness center and office complex represents the evolution of urban infrastructure in Germany.
