Lenneberg tower

Lenneberg Tower is a stone observation tower in the forest near Budenheim that reaches about 17 meters high. Internal stairs lead up to a platform where visitors can look out over the forest and surrounding areas.

The tower was designed and built between 1878 and 1880 by architect Philipp Johann Berdellé in the Neo-Gothic style. This building project shows how forests were opened up with new structures during that era.
