Betonhalle

The Betonhalle is a building with a large round hall topped by a concrete dome supported by concrete columns. The space can be divided into different sections and features galleries and loggias that create a complex spatial arrangement.

The building was created in 1913 as an exhibition hall for an international construction trade fair meant to display the possibilities of concrete as a building material. After its opening, it became an important event venue and remains in use today.

The circular space recalls ancient building forms and shows how architects of the early 1900s merged classical ideas with new materials. Visitors can still experience today the elegant arrangement with the surrounding galleries that define the interior.

The building is located in Leipzig's former Trade Fair grounds and is accessible to visitors during events. Its central location makes it easy to reach, and the space offers flexible options for different types of gatherings.
