Muffatwerk

Muffatwerk is a former industrial building by the Isar River in Munich, combining neoclassical and Art Nouveau architectural elements. The site includes a restaurant with outdoor seating area and multiple rooms for various events and performances.

The building was erected in 1837 as an industrial facility and later converted into an event venue. The transition from factory to cultural space occurred while keeping the original structure intact.

The name comes from a mill that once operated at this riverside location. Today, visitors experience the place as a venue for live performances and casual dining in a relaxed setting.

The outdoor area is open daily when weather permits and offers seating along the riverside. Parking is available nearby, and the grounds are flat and easy to navigate on foot.

The grounds lie next to a long cycling route that connects two Bavarian towns. A large protective awning allows visitors to sit outside even on rainy days.
