Museum FLUXUS+, Art museum in Schiffbauergasse, Potsdam, Germany.
Museum FLUXUS+ is an art museum in a converted historic horse stable displaying contemporary artworks across two floors. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, installations, drawings, and video presentations.
The museum opened in 2008 when collector Henry Liman established it as the first institution in Potsdam dedicated to the Fluxus movement. This founding made the city an important place for preserving this experimental art movement.
The collection features works by Wolf Vostell, Joseph Beuys, Nam June Paik, and Yoko Ono, artists who dissolved boundaries between different art forms. Their pieces reflect a movement that challenged what art could be and how it could be experienced.
The museum is located near the Tiefen See and welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday between 13:00 and 18:00. Entry fees are reduced on the first Wednesday of each month.
The ground floor displays works from the original Fluxus movement of the 1960s with their experimental and often unconventional character. The upper level shows work by Wolf Vostell and contemporary artists who carry forward this tradition.
