Nordhäuser Dom

The Nordhäuser Dom is a parish church in Nordhausen combining Gothic and Renaissance features. Inside, a wooden baptismal font from 1591 remains preserved as a historic artifact.

Construction of the church began in 1450 and was completed in 1489, reflecting a period of architectural development in the region. During the Nazi era, Dean Wilhelm Hunstiger faced persecution at this location.
