The Nordpark extends across 35 hectares with geometric design patterns, featuring long ponds, symmetrical flowerbeds, and a water lily garden.
The park was established in 1937 during the Great Imperial Exhibition of Productive People, under the direction of gardens department head Willi Tapp.
The Japanese Garden on the Rhine, created in 1975 by Tokyo landscape architects Iwakii Ishiguro & Son, spans 5000 square meters.
The main entrance at Kaiserswerther Straße 390 provides paid parking facilities, while the park remains open year-round with free admission.
The park houses the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum, which displays over 500 animal species in water-based environments throughout its premises.
