Park der Gärten

The Park der Gärten extends over 14 hectares and contains 44 model gardens, displaying numerous plant collections and themed garden designs.

The park site was transformed from a former airfield into a horticultural center in the 1970s before hosting the first Lower Saxony State Garden Show in 2002.

The garden features 140 horticultural companies from Lower Saxony presenting their garden designs, including a Japanese garden with sculpted pines and mountain landscapes.

The park operates from April 18 to October 5, with daily opening hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and exit gates remain accessible until 9:45 PM.

The park houses a collection of 350 conifer species in its Pinetum and maintains 2,500 roses across 50 varieties in its dedicated rose garden.
