Park der Gärten

Park der Gärten is a garden park in Bad Zwischenahn featuring approximately 44 model gardens spread across around 14 hectares. These gardens display different plant collections and various garden design approaches in one location.

The site was created in the 1970s on a former airfield as a horticultural center. It later became the venue for the first Lower Saxon State Garden Show in 2002.

The park displays garden designs from local horticultural businesses, showing different approaches to garden creation. Visitors can see how various plants and layouts work together to create different garden styles.

The park is easy to walk through with well-maintained paths connecting the different garden areas. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and allow time for a leisurely stroll through the various sections.

One section displays conifers from around the world, bringing together a large collection of different species in one area. This specialized section offers visitors a deeper look at the variety within this plant group.
