Pfarrkirche Christi Auferstehung

The Pfarrkirche Christi Auferstehung features a combination of brick and exposed concrete construction with a complex polygonal floor plan and multiple interlocked building structures.

The church, completed in 1907, suffered severe bomb damage in 1944 during World War II, with only the tower remaining intact from the original structure.

The altar area displays a bronze sculpture by Franz Josef Lipensky depicting Christ on the cross surrounded by people from different life situations.

The entrance to the church is located through an archway leading to the former parish garden, with services held in an area beneath a glass pyramid.

The reconstruction between 1991 and 1993 integrated a sacred space in the basement while incorporating office spaces in the upper floors.
