Castle Caputh, Baroque castle and museum in Schwielowsee, Germany.
Located on the banks of River Havel, Castle Caputh features ceiling paintings, intricate stucco work, and Dutch tile decorations throughout its chambers.
Philip de Chiese constructed Castle Caputh in 1662 for Elector Frederick William of Brandenburg, who later granted it to his second wife, Princess Dorothea Sophie.
The castle museum displays a collection of lacquer furniture, porcelain, faience, sculptures, and over 100 paintings from early 18th century courtly art.
The castle opens daily except Mondays from April to October, while between November and March visits are restricted to weekends only.
The summer dining hall contains approximately 7,500 Dutch faience tiles, making it one of the largest collections of Delftware in a German palace.
