The property operated as a hotel from 2001 to 2021, when it was sold to a medical group for conversion into a psychosomatic clinic with 70 inpatient beds.
The hotel received numerous international visitors, including German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and heads of state from German-speaking European nations.
