Schloss Hirschberg is a castle in Beilngries featuring two Romanesque towers that flank the central gatehouse and sit high above the Altmühl Valley. The location offers expansive views across the surrounding landscape and valley slopes.
History
The castle was first documented in 1180 and came under the ownership of the bishops of Eichstätt in 1305. Between 1760 and 1764 it underwent transformation into a hunting lodge.
