Schmal-Beerbach, Administrative land district in Lautertal, Germany
Schmal-Beerbach is an administrative land district in the northern part of Lautertal municipality in the Bergstrasse region of Hessen. Two state roads pass through the area, linking it to several neighboring settlements and the wider district.
The area received its first written mention in 1561 as Scmalberbach, with the name deriving from the Middle High German term for small. By the early 19th century, it had developed into a modest settlement with limited population.
The census of 1829 recorded nine houses with 56 residents, where all except one Catholic resident belonged to the Lutheran religious community.
