Solln, Residential district in southern Munich, Germany

Solln extends across tree-lined streets with large gardens and historic villas, representing one of Munich's most expensive residential neighborhoods.

The district's first documented mention appears in records from the late 11th century, connected to the Old Solln Church of Saint John the Baptist.

The TSV Solln sports club, established in 1931, maintains strong football traditions with its black and white team colors.

The S-Bahn station connects residents to Munich's center while the district contains multiple Catholic parishes and Protestant churches.

The Balde-Höhe in Solln, at the former Warnberg castle site, marks Munich's highest elevation at 579 meters above sea level.
