St. Moritz

St. Moritz is a parish church and former monastery in Augsburg that combines historical roots with contemporary design. The interior features Portuguese limestone floors, dark wood furnishings, and white walls that create striking visual contrasts throughout the space.

Founded by Bruno of Augsburg nearly 1000 years ago, the church endured multiple fires and sustained significant damage during World War II. Later reconstructions reshaped its form and a major renovation returned it to active use.
