St. Raphael, Catholic church in Moosach district, Munich, Germany

St. Raphael features a tall bell tower constructed between 1959 and 1960, equipped with five bells cast by Karl Czudnochowsky foundry in Erding.

The initial wooden emergency church opened in 1926, followed by the construction of the stone building in 1932 under architect Hans Döllgast's winning design.

The church displays a winged altarpiece depicting scenes from the Passion of Christ through the Resurrection, representing German religious artistic traditions.

Located at Lechelstraße 54 near Waldhornstraße and Hartmannshofer Park, the church operates in partnership with Maria Trost parish since 2005.

The largest bell in the tower weighs 2,200 kilograms with a diameter of 1,600 millimeters, while the smallest weighs 230 kilograms.
