SuperC

The SuperC building features a cantilevered roof design and transparent glass facades that connect the interior spaces with the surrounding campus environment.

The building, designed by architects Susanne Fritzer and Eva-Maria Pape, opened in July 2008 following a construction period that began in late 2006.

The SuperC functions as a central meeting point where students, researchers, and industry professionals gather for academic exchanges and collaborative projects.

The structure houses essential student services, including the registrar's office, international affairs department, examination office, and career center across seven floors.

Initial plans incorporated geothermal heating through deep ground probes, but technical complications led to the abandonment of this innovative energy concept.
