Main building RWTH Aachen

The Main Building RWTH Aachen extends across 14,600 square meters, featuring large auditoriums, administrative offices, and research spaces on Templergraben street.

Ferdinand Robert Cremer designed this educational structure in 1865, marking the beginning of RWTH Aachen University's physical presence in the region.

The building contains Aula I, a central auditorium that hosts academic ceremonies, public lectures, and educational events throughout the academic year.

Students access various administrative services, attend lectures, and participate in research activities within the building's multiple specialized departments and facilities.

The structure incorporates interconnected spaces called Pick-Up points, creating designated areas where students, faculty, and industry professionals exchange knowledge.
