Sterneckerbräu, Former brewery and museum in Münchner Altstadt, Germany.

Sterneckerbräu at Tal 38 is a five-story building with large ground-level arches, irregular bay windows, and a traditional gable roof. The lower levels contain retail and restaurant spaces, while the upper floors serve as residential apartments.

The brewery was built between 1901 and 1902 according to designs by Heilmann & Littmann for brewer Joseph Höcherl. Continuous brewing operations existed at this location from 1557 until 1957.

The building reflects early Munich architectural design and served as a gathering place for various groups throughout its existence. Such spaces played an important role in the city's social life and community activities.

The building stands near the Isartor gate and combines retail spaces on the ground floor with residential units in the upper levels. Its location in the Old Town provides convenient foot access and is surrounded by other local landmarks.

The ground-floor restaurant served as a meeting place for a political group during the early Weimar Republic that later shaped history. This detail from a turbulent period remains part of the city's cultural memory today.
