Kaufhaus Jandorf, Brunnenstraße, Department store in Berlin-Mitte, Germany.
The five-story building features steel skeleton construction with flexible floor plans and spans approximately 10,000 square meters of retail space.
Adolf Jandorf opened this department store in 1904, which later transferred to Hermann Tietz company in 1927 and survived World War II with minimal damage.
The structure served as the Fashion Institute during the German Democratic Republic period from 1952, influencing clothing design and trends in East Germany.
Located opposite Volkspark am Weinbergsweg, the building underwent renovation from 2017 to 2019 and now houses the Berlin headquarters of Daimler AG and BMW.
The architecture incorporates Art Nouveau elements and features a central light court that underwent modifications during the Hermann Tietz ownership period.
