Wallfahrtskirche Mariä Himmelfahrt

The single-nave church features a flat barrel vault ceiling and a tower topped with an onion-shaped dome in classical architectural style.

The church was constructed between 1750 and 1765 to replace a deteriorating chapel that monks from Niederaltaich Monastery had built in 1593.

The high altar contains a 45-centimeter wooden figure from the 14th century, displayed behind glass in the tabernacle as a devotional image.

Religious services take place regularly with Saturday evening masses at 18:00 and Sunday morning ceremonies at 08:30 at Herrenstraße 11.

The pulpit, crafted in 1758 by Johann Paulus Hager, depicts biblical scenes including the prophet Jonah in the mouth of a fish.
