Hohenbogen-Kaserne, Former military barracks in Bad Kötzting, Germany
The Hohenbogen-Kaserne complex features two communication towers and multiple buildings designed for military operations and personnel accommodation.
Constructed in 1965, the barracks housed the Fernmeldesektor F Fernmelderegiment 72 of the Luftwaffe until its decommissioning in 2004.
The facility represents a period of German military history, with its communication towers monitoring activities along the borders during the Cold War.
Since 2015, the former military complex functions as a youth, sports, and conference center, offering facilities for various community activities.
The main 75-meter tower now includes an external steel staircase leading to an observation platform at 50 meters, providing views of the surrounding area.
