Wienburgpark Münster

The Wienburgpark encompasses 26 hectares of land with 2 kilometers of paved paths and 2.9 kilometers of bark mulch trails through diverse natural areas.

Initial plans for the park date back to 1966, but the current design was implemented in 1986-1987 with a budget of 1.68 million Deutsche Mark.

The park includes dedicated areas for sports activities, including disc golf courses, beach volleyball courts, basketball facilities, and fitness stations along the paths.

The entire park, except for sports and playground areas, serves as an off-leash zone for dogs with multiple meadows and natural spaces.

A 6,000-square-meter children's playground features equipment too large for standard playgrounds, while summer months host the Atlantis children's camp.
