Unimog-Museum

The Unimog-Museum houses a collection of Mercedes-Benz utility vehicles developed over multiple decades for different working purposes. The exhibition displays models used in agriculture, road maintenance, and rescue operations, alongside the technical innovations that emerged across the years.

The vehicle line originated in the 1940s in response to the need for flexible utility vehicles in Germany. Since then it evolved into a versatile machine used in numerous fields and countries for very different tasks.

The place tells the story of how these vehicles became essential tools for farmers and tradespeople across Europe, changing the way rural work was done. Exhibitions show the practical role these machines played in everyday farming and construction life.

The museum provides convenient access and operates on most days of the week, making visits easy to plan. Its location near water and central position makes it straightforward to reach.
