Bahnhof Gramzow

Bahnhof Gramzow is a railway museum set on a large site that displays locomotives and railway equipment from small and private railways. The museum holds steam engines, diesel locomotives, electric trains, and various freight and passenger cars from different periods.

The museum was founded in 1996 and preserves sections of a former regional railway line that once connected smaller towns. This line was reactivated after the museum opened to operate heritage train rides.

The collection features trains and equipment from small and private railways that are rarely seen elsewhere. Visitors can observe machines and cars that reflect how railway operations worked across different periods.

The site is walkable and offers paths to view all the vehicles, though some areas become muddy in wet conditions. Visitors should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and shoes suitable for unpaved paths.

Visitors can operate different trains themselves, such as a handcar on short tracks or rail cars on a longer section of line. This hands-on experience with historical railway equipment is rarely available elsewhere.
