The stadium, designed by architect Hermann Alker, opened in 1930 and includes a sports hall beneath the grandstand with pointed arch supports.
The structure now hosts the Working Group for Culture and Communication, organizing student activities and community events since 1977.
Located at Paulckeplatz 1 in eastern Karlsruhe, the stadium remains accessible through the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology south campus.
The building survived demolition attempts in 1974 through public discussions and received recognition as a monument of special significance.
