Sparkassen-Arena is a modern indoor sports hall in Jena designed to host basketball, handball, judo, and other sporting events. The interior accommodates around 3,000 spectators and features a large LED display screen positioned above the center of the playing area.

Construction began in August 2013, and the facility opened in January 2014 following a substantial financial investment. This project strengthened the city's sporting infrastructure by providing a modern venue for professional and regional competitions.
