Herrenhaus Tüschow

Herrenhaus Tüschow is a two-story residential building with nine window axes constructed in classical style. A broad portico with four Ionic columns marks the main entrance, while a flat hipped roof caps the structure.

The building was commissioned between 1830 and 1835 and remained in private ownership for nearly a century. After Soviet occupation in 1945, it was converted into residential apartments and later transformed into a guest facility.

The name reflects the aristocratic family that shaped the estate for generations. Visitors today can experience how the restored rooms convey the lifestyle of manor owners from earlier centuries.

Visitors can rent vacation apartments and attend cultural events such as readings and special dinners. The property is best accessed on foot and makes for a half-day visit.

The grounds feature an English landscape park with walking paths and a garden pavilion situated on an artificial island. This water-surrounded garden design reflects the refined taste of 19th century owners.
