Hasenwinkel

Hasenwinkel is a 6.2-hectare protected area in Thuringia featuring natural lakes, tall herb communities, and meadows. The landscape displays a mix of different natural habitats within a compact space.

The area was placed under protection in 1939, making it one of Germany's early conservation initiatives. This decision allowed ecologically valuable land to be preserved for future generations.
