The museum features exhibits about cocoa history, chocolate production processes, and displays chocolate artworks through a panoramic viewing window.
Established in 2002 within Germany's oldest chocolate factory complex, the museum expanded to 900 square meters of exhibition space by 2007.
The Chocolate Room exhibits life-sized sculptures and furniture made from 400 kg of chocolate, depicting the 1896 office of Ernst David.
The museum operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00.
A chocolate relief map weighing 500 kilograms displays over 200 architectural elements of Halle's city center from 1952.
