Inselpark Arena, Multi-purpose arena in Wilhelmsburg, Germany
The 3,400-seat edel-optics.de Arena contains a sports hall and swimming pool complex within its 3,300 square meter structure in Hamburg's Wilhelmsburg district.
Initially constructed as an exhibition hall for the International Garden Show 2013, the facility underwent a 14 million euro conversion before its sports inauguration in October 2014.
The arena serves as the home venue for Hamburg Towers basketball team and hosts international sports competitions, including basketball championships and professional boxing matches.
Located three minutes from Wilhelmsburg station, the arena provides two paid parking lots and maintains a lounge area with bar services for event attendees.
The facility features retractable spectator stands and two LED screens, enabling rapid transformations between sports competitions, concerts, congresses, and corporate events.
