Pierre Boulez Saal, Concert hall in Berlin, Germany

The Pierre Boulez Saal features an elliptical shape with cedar wood panels and accommodates 700 seats for classical and contemporary music performances.

The concert venue opened in March 2017 within a former storage building of the Berlin State Opera, constructed between 1952 and 1955.

The hall serves as a primary performance space for the Barenboim-Said Academy, which brings together young Arab and Israeli musicians for musical education.

Located on Französische Straße in Berlin's Mitte district, the concert hall offers specialized ticket options for attendees under 30 through the CLASSICCARD program.

Architect Frank Gehry and acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota collaborated to create flexible seating arrangements where musicians perform at eye level with the audience.
