Wallfahrtskirche Mariae Geburt in Betenbrunn

The church features a straight-ended eastern choir and a tower on its north wall, with a sacristy added in the late 14th century.

Construction of the hall church began in 1373, with the nave built at the end of the 17th century and upper tower levels completed in the late 1300s.

The church celebrates its patronal feast of the Nativity of Mary on the first Sunday of September with a high mass and procession through the village.

The ceiling paintings display the Mater Dolorosa in the nave and the Coronation of Mary in the choir, while the high altar is attributed to Hans Ulrich Glöckler.

The church tower features coats of arms from three noble families: Werdenberg, Fürstenberg, and Montfort, displayed on the triumphal arch.
