Carmen Würth Forum, convention center in Germany
The Carmen Würth Forum is an events venue in Künzelsau hosting concerts, conferences, and exhibitions. It features a large performance hall seating around 2,500 people, a smaller chamber music room for about 580 guests, eleven conference spaces with modern technology, and an adjoining art museum displaying works from the Würth Collection.
The forum was founded on an idea by Reinhold Würth, who sketched his plan on a hotel napkin and launched an international competition to select the design. Construction started in 2015, the opening took place in 2017, and a second phase in 2020 expanded the complex with additional exhibition and conference areas.
The forum is named after Carmen Würth, wife of the company founder, reflecting the family's commitment to arts and culture. Visitors experience it as a gathering place where music performances, exhibitions, and public events shape how the community engages with creativity.
The forum is located in a quiet area outside Künzelsau with ample parking and open outdoor spaces to relax before or after events. The interior spaces are bright and clearly organized, making it easy to navigate between different venues and venues.
The building is partially embedded into the hillside, merging seamlessly with the natural landscape so that parts of it are barely visible from outside. This design creates a striking contrast where expansive interior spaces open to panoramic views of the surrounding countryside through large windows.
