The museum exhibits over three hundred vehicles, from children's scooters to motorcycles, bicycles, and cars representing East German transportation history.
The Fahrzeugmuseum Staßfurt opened its doors on January 1, 2009, expanding the cultural offerings of the Saxony-Anhalt region with its automotive collection.
The exhibition presents vehicles that operated between Cape Arkona and Fichtelberg, including Trabant cars with rooftop tents and police Ladas from East Germany.
Located at Berlepschstraße 14, the museum welcomes visitors from Easter until November, operating Friday through Sunday between 11 AM and 5 PM.
The collection includes emergency doctor Wartburg 353 W vehicles and numerous self-built automobiles constructed with MZ and SIMSON components.
