St. Johannes der Täufer

The church features a prominent tower that remained standing after conflicts, complemented by a transept added during the late 19th century expansions.

Following destruction in the Thirty Years' War, the church was rebuilt next to the surviving watchtower and received consecration from Auxiliary Bishop Augustinus Gockel in 1893.

From 1919 to 1980, Hildesheim Vincentians managed a kindergarten and provided nursing care services to the local community.

The church underwent extensive renovations in 1991, including roof replacement, altar space modification, and installation of new windows to improve the building's functionality.

Lightning struck the building in 1897, leading to the acquisition of a new large bell, followed by the installation of a clock in the tower by 1908.
