Weisses Schloss is a three-story villa with Tudor-style architecture located at the corner of Residenzstrasse and Händelallee. The white facade features pointed-arch and flat-arch windows, with a park-like garden spreading around the building.
The villa was built between 1860 and 1862 by architect Theodor Lehnert for Dresden entrepreneur Carl August Spiegelthal. Later, the building was transformed into a hotel under Christian Friedrich Lorenz.
The villa shows the mix of different building styles that Dresden's architects loved in the 1800s. You can see German timber-frame traditions combined with elements from the Renaissance, Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque periods.
