Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim, Thermal bath and water park in Sinsheim, Germany
Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is a thermal bath and water park in Baden-Württemberg that combines heated pools, slides, and several sauna zones under one roof. The basins are filled with warm water from local sources, while tropical plants and palm trees line the paths between different sections.
The thermal bath opened in late 2017 and brought a southern European bathing culture to the region. The complex uses thermal water drawn from depths of more than 1000 meters (about 3280 feet).
The facility incorporates elements from various global wellness traditions, including Turkish steam baths, Finnish saunas, and Indonesian relaxation techniques across 13 themed areas.
The complex opens in the morning on weekdays and slightly earlier on weekends, with closing times varying in the evening. Some sauna areas are adults-only, while other zones are also open to families with children.
A large sauna floats on the thermal lake, built as its own vessel and offering wooden benches and panoramic windows inside. The construction was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records and attracts visitors who want to experience bathing on the water.
