Wasserturm Wilhelmshaven

Wasserturm Wilhelmshaven is a 42-meter brick structure with a round base that changes into a twelve-sided shape toward the top, topped by a large steel container. The vessel holds water for the city, while the building stands out through its solid brick construction.

The structure arose between 1910 and 1911 as the city's third water facility and included two steel chambers for storage. In 2007 it received a new modern steel container, extending its years of service.

The tower sits in Kurpark and shapes the city's character as a symbol of early 20th-century urban growth. Visitors see how Wilhelmshaven expanded and built its public services.
