Uber Eats Music Hall, Event venue in Friedrichshain, Berlin, Germany.
Verti Music Hall is an event venue in Friedrichshain with a contemporary exterior and interior spaces designed to hold around 4,500 visitors. The building features open hall areas and technical installations suited to different performance formats.
In 2015 the Anschutz Entertainment Group announced a new entertainment quarter around the Mercedes-Benz Arena, budgeting about 200 million euros for a concert hall to be built in 24 to 30 months. The insurer Verti secured the naming rights in late 2017, and the hall opened on 12 October 2018 with a nearly sold-out Jack White concert. In January 2024 Uber acquired the naming rights, and the venue became the Uber Eats Music Hall on 22 March 2024.
The hall was named Verti Music Hall after the insurer Verti signed the naming rights in 2017; since 22 March 2024 it has been called Uber Eats Music Hall. Its first year, October 2018 to October 2019, brought 43 concerts, 10 show events, 28 corporate events, 3 sports events and one festival, with 125,000 visitors. The stage has hosted George Ezra, Gloria Gaynor, The Roots, the Beach Boys and Stray Kids.
Visitors should check whether the event is standing or seated, as the layout changes depending on the show. Entry usually happens through several access points, which helps reduce waiting time when attendance is high.
The technical setup allows rapid changes to the interior, so a rock concert one evening can be followed days later by a comedy show with a completely different arrangement. This flexibility lets the venue host different genres and audience sizes without structural limits.
